ABOUT
Matthew R. Paden is a Kansas City-based children's author & illustrator. His unique style of illustration is often referred to as whimsical, playful, emotive and colorful.

Currently, Matt is developing his personal project, Ember & Bubblegum's Rainy Day Romp.
In his spare time, he enjoys sketching, painting, and savoring his morning coffee.
Outside the art world, he stays busy with his wife, energetic daughter, and their two beloved pets—Jelly Butters, the mischievous cat, and Mitzy, their spirited mini greyhound.
