My Philosophy

I believe art serves a purpose beyond decoration. Throughout history, creative voices have challenged ideas, preserved stories, inspired conversations, and helped society see itself in new ways.
In a world filled with constant noise, distraction, and routine, art provides a moment to slow down, reflect, and reconnect with imagination.
That belief is one of the reasons I paint.
I believe creativity is essential to a healthy culture. Artists, writers, musicians, and creative thinkers help push boundaries and break the patterns of everyday life.
They remind us that there is always another perspective, another possibility, and another way to experience the world around us.
My paintings are created from that same desire—to explore what exists beneath the surface.
I believe those unexpected moments often reveal the most authentic parts of the creative process.
My Influences
Every artist is shaped by the experiences, stories, and environments that leave a lasting impression.
My work has been influenced by a lifelong curiosity about people, places, culture, and the stories that connect us.
Storytelling has always been one of my greatest influences.
I have always been fascinated by the way films, literature, history, and popular culture create lasting images in our collective memory.
Certain characters, moments, and narratives stay with us because they represent something deeper about the human experience.
That fascination continues to influence the subjects I choose and the way I approach them.
Whether painting a portrait, a landscape, a cultural icon, or a moment from history, I look beyond the surface to discover the emotion and meaning behind the image.

My Process

Every painting begins with possibility.
While I may begin with an idea, subject, or moment of inspiration, I rarely know exactly where the finished piece will lead.
That uncertainty is an important part of my process. I believe discovery is where some of the most meaningful creative moments happen.
I build my paintings through layers of color, texture, and expressive mark-making.
Each decision adds to the history of the piece. Some areas develop quickly, while others require revision, adjustment, and exploration before they find their place.
I embrace those changes because they become part of the story of the painting itself.
For me, the most exciting moments occur when intention and spontaneity meet.
When a recognizable subject begins to emerge through abstract forms, colors, and textures, the painting becomes something more than an image. It becomes an experience.
A Personal Invitation
Creating a painting is a deeply personal process, but sharing that painting with a collector is equally meaningful.
Every original work that leaves my studio becomes part of someone else's story.
It enters a space where it can be experienced, reflected upon, and appreciated for years to come.
I never take for granted the trust involved in choosing artwork that becomes part of a personal collection.
My hope is that my paintings offer more than something beautiful to look at. I
hope they create moments of curiosity, emotion, and connection—pieces that continue to reveal something new long after they first capture your attention.
Thank you for taking the time to learn more about my journey, my process, and the ideas that guide my work.
I invite you to explore the collections and discover the painting that speaks to you personally.
Because ultimately, the most meaningful artwork is not simply something we see.
It is something we feel.
