Custom Artwork

I take on a very limited number of commissions each year—just seven new projects annually. This isn’t about exclusivity for its own sake; it’s about protecting the time, focus, and creative energy each piece deserves.

Every commission I accept is treated as a collaboration, not a transaction, and that requires space to think, experiment, and fully commit to the work.

My Approach

Begins with conversation. I want to understand not just what you want to see, but why you want to see it.

Whether it’s a personal icon, a cultural figure, or a concept tied to memory or meaning, I’m interested in the emotional core behind the image. From there, I develop the composition through sketches and visual studies, allowing the piece to evolve organically rather than forcing it into a predetermined outcome.

All commissioned works are created in my signature style—acrylic on canvas using a palette knife and layered, contemporary abstraction.

I don’t aim for strict realism. Instead, I reinterpret subject matter through texture, movement, and color, distilling recognizable forms into something more expressive and atmospheric.

The result is a piece that feels both familiar and unexpected, grounded in subject but alive with interpretation.

Because of the time-intensive nature of this process, each commission becomes a deeply focused studio experience. I work in sequence, not in bulk, ensuring every piece receives full attention from concept to completion.

If you’re interested in commissioning a work, the first step is to join my waitlist. When a new commission slot becomes available, I reach out directly to those on the list in the order inquiries are received.

From there, we discuss your idea, timeline, and whether it’s the right fit for both the project and my current body of work.
